PNC Names Mike Lyons Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC) today announced that Michael P. Lyons will join the company as head of Corporate & Institutional Banking. Lyons will be based in Pittsburgh and report to PNC Senior Vice Chairman William S. Demchak.

Lyons most recently served as the head of corporate development and strategic planning at Bank of America Corporation. In that role, he was instrumental in the repositioning of Bank of America's balance sheet to help the company focus on its core businesses and growth strategy. Before joining Bank of America, Lyons served as a principal at investment advisor Maverick Capital, and he was a director in Morgan Stanley's financial institutions group.
Lyons is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
